Every year I tell myself (and my department chair) that one of my goals is to attend and/or present a paper at the International Congress on Medieval Studies at Kalamazoo, Michigan, and so far, I have failed utterly. It’s always fascinating—at least if you’re a medievalist. Medieval News has blogged the conference, and collected links to several other interesting ICM posts, including the unmasking of the notorious Chaucer-blogger.

In some ways, reading about it may be better. With my luck, I would have been in one of the numerous other “lounges that dot the Kalamazoo dormitories” and missed the big event. On the plus side, at least Mr. “Chaucer” has been posting again recently.

Next year in Kalamazoo!
